Switching to largely mobile workforce, questions
Previously our environment was largely a desktop lan that was easily managed. We're about to change to a largely mobile workforce, with users frequently outside of the network.
Are there any serious disadvantages to running 500+ devices a remote/mobile agents using direct communication, or any reason why that would not be advised. Also, if we create distributions server to handle some of the load, will the agent attempt to use direct communication when the device is outside of the network, or should we stick with direct communication since most users will frequently be traveling and changing locations.
