switch reporting critical errors constantly
I'm trying to configure all my equipment into opmanager and a strange thing happened when I started doing my switches. They are HP 4108's and everytime someone turns off a computer or disconnects from the network I get a critical error that a interface is down. I could see this being important on a router, but this is common on a switch. In the Log on the switch itself nothing is listing as a error so why would its be reporting it as a critical error, and how do I get around it. I like to see green check isntead of red X, unless something really bad is happening. TIA.
