Switch ports reporting trouble when link up or down
I know there has been a lot of talk regarding this topic but I am still having trouble finding how to do it.
My switch ports report "trouble" when the port link goes up or down (IE. someone turns off their computer). for example:
Interface 'Ethernet Interface-g19' is down.
I still want to monitor that port for critical alerts like this one:
Critical Dec 15,2011 12:56:23 PM Interface 'Ethernet Interface-g19' is shutdown.
Is there a way to surrpress ONLY that trouble alert or reclassify it to something that wont clutter my dashboard?
