switch port mapper
Hi there,
I've noticed that in the Switch Port Mapper, I have two switches that can both see a host called "eastnor" - one switch displays the IP address of the host and the other switch does not (see images).
Both switches are Ciscos, the one that isn't showing the IP address of the host is a 3550 and the one that is showing the IP address of it, is a 2950.
The 3550 is directly connected to the host, the 2950 isn't (it's elsewhere in the network).
Any idea why that would be happening or what I can do to try and fix it? Refreshing the switches hasn't helped.
On top of that, I'm finding not every IP address is displayed for each MAC address that is displayed. Any ideas on that also?
