SupportCenter 6500 Restore Database Failure

SupportCenter 6500 Restore Database Failure

Hi Support,

I have tried to move my existing system on to a different machine this evening.

Here are the steps I have taken, we are using MYSQL

On the existing machine I updated it to the latest release, taking my version from 6009 to 6500

I downloaded the latest release and put this on the new system. I checked, and this version matches my 6500 of my existing system.

I started up the new version on the new machine to check it was ok before restore and this worked fine.

I ran a backup using the backup script from a command prompt on my existing system and this created my date version and time stamped file, this showed that it was version 6500
I copied this file on to the new machine and ran the restoredata script from a command prompt choosing my previously backed up file.

It looked like it was working ok, ran through the database clean part and then went on to restore to this database.

During the restore it reached 50% and goes splat.

Log files were attached on an email I sent you last the last few lines from the SCPRestore.log shows.

I have checked the call referenced in case it looks like it has a stange control character in it and it looks fine, like a normal call.

I have a full command prompt file as well but haven't attached this at this time as it contains customers email addresses. If you could log a call for this I can drop you the other file directly.

Please advise asap, if possible if we could do a webex or you have some idea on things I could try first it would be appreciated,

Cheers

Rich
