The more I try to work with Business Units the more I regret ever turning the things on!  THEY DON'T WORK.  There are too many bugs, too many "you can't have duplicates" and I'm getting sick and tired of it.

If ManageEngine don't spend a month fixing every problem with Business Units in the next two month we are ditching Support Center and using something else because we cannot function like this.  I couldn't care less what other bugs or problems exist - get these fixed now, this monthm, this release!  Not next release or next year, NOW!

I currently have three business units, three technicians.  One tech has access to the original business unit and that works fine.  The second tech has access to all three and is a global administrator.  The third tech only needs access to two of the business not including the initial unit prior to turning BUs on.

So I try to create the SAME named role in the third business unit - oh dear - duplicate - can't do that - WRONG - you will permit the exact same named role across business units with the exact same settings if I so specify.

So I have the "Technician" role in one BU and the "IT Technician" in the other.

I go to Global Settings, Support Reps, Add.  I enter the required details and select the two business units for the technician.  I am then asked if I want the same or different roles across business units.  Because you don't allow the SAME role across business units this question is functionless at this time, however I select different roles, but the only role that appears in the drop down is "business unit administrator".  WHAT USE IS THAT!

Why are the two roles "Technician" and "IT Technician" NOT showing up?
