After a recent upgrade to 9.2 Build 9207 we noticed an issue where
technicians were unable to submit requests because the mandatory Support Group field "Group" displayed "-- Select Group --" not an actual support group. We have created rules to assign specific groups for certain activities and this has been working well until recently.
We have noticed that when a technician creates a new request and selects an individual for the "Requester Details" field, such as themselves or another user. Once they select outside of that field, the Support Group field "Group" is reset to "-- Select Group --" even when a specific group was assigned to that template.
Once you have selected the requester who this request is sent in on behalf, then click your mouse anywhere on that page, and the "Group" field appears to revert back to "-- Select Group --".
To resolve this - we must create more field and form rules to reset the Support Groups, or redirect them to the appropriate support personnel.
We are planning to update the software version this evening, and I will report back on the status of this issue.
