With the latest update supporting Centos 8/9, is there an ETA for when support for Ubuntu (and by extension other Ubuntu-based flavors) beyond the current supported version of 20.04 LTS will come? This version of Ubuntu is reaching end-of-life and will stop receiving standard updates on May 31st, many places including ours have long moved to 22.04, so I think at the least support for that version is sorely needed.
Perhaps there is some sort of workaround to get the current client working on newer versions of Ubuntu? When I attempt to install it currently, I receive an error that the current OS is unsupported and to continue at your own risk, but there is no way to continue, the installer just exits and I don't know of a way to get around that OS check.
It is a bit concerning that official support isn't there for an OS that is three years old at this point that many organizations have upgraded to.
