Support Center features stop working.

Since we installed Support Center Plus (2 years ago now) we have been having on-going, intermittent issues. Manage Engine have been contacted each time we experience these issues, however they have never been resolved, and we seem to go round and round in circles sending over support case files. Initially we had the system on a SBS2011 server with several other databases, so we moved this over to its own dedicated Windows 2012 server, hoping this would improve the performance, however it hasn't. We are on build 7936 and are aware there has been a new build released recently (7939) which we will be upgrading to shortly. Issues are as follows:

  • The Support Center would become non-responsive and would crash. It would need to be restarted to resolve this. This hasn't occurred in the last 6 months, so may have been resolved by us placing a debug.jar file (provided by Manage Engine) into the Manage Engine Windows location.
  • We also get several issues with the standard features on the SCP. When this happens, our e-mail notifications stop sending, when replying to an e-mail from the Support Center the past e-mail transcript is not there and the body just states 'null' (see attachment), where as it should show the e-mail you're replying to. Canned responses would stop working/appearing, the mail fetching would stop, and our custom views disappear, they are just blank (see attachment) . We have tested this several times through Firefox, Chrome, and IE 10&11 with no change. In order to resolve this, again we need to restart the Support Center. This was happening once a day at its worse, but now only seems to happen 2 or 3 times a week.
  • We occasionally have issues closing tickets, where any users attempting to close it would receive a 'The operation can't be completed. Permission Denied' error. There are no issues with the permissions as when again, the Support Center is restarted, this issue is resolved.
  • Opening requests. Sometimes we find users are unable to open requests for a certain business unit. When they click on the request, nothing would happen, it would redirect them back to the main page they were on, with the list of requests.

All of these issues seem to be tied in and in order to resolve them we restart the SCP or the server itself. We were hoping someone out there has experienced anything of the same? As it is just very frustrating having to reboot the system every day, preventing several Support Reps from doing their job.
