Suggestion on filters

On the requests page the filter is limited to what is already there. I would like to see the ability to create our own filters, such as all open issues for a particular technician. As a manager I want to be able to easily pull specific sets of requests via the pull down menu. No I have to run a report, then pull up the requests from the information on the report.
