StillSecure's Strata Guard IPS/IDS snmp
Is it possible for OpManager to receive SNMP traps from IPS/IDS' that does not allow polling, and relies on SNMP monitor (OpManager) to only listen for the snmp packets? It seems that StillSecure's Strata Guard will only direct SNMP traps towards OpManager, but will not allow OpManager to poll Strata Guard. I know that by adding a device in OpManager causes SNMP polling towards the network device, but Strata Guard totally ignores them. The implication is that OpManager cannot see the Strata Guard device. Is there a way around this? Thanks!
