Steps to Migrate anyway from SMS & WSUS to Desktop Central 8
I need to know all the different steps I need to take to migrate away from using SMS & WSUS and start using just Desktop Central. We have both XP & Windows 7 in our environment. I want to know how much of this effort is already documented in a KB article or if Desktop Central has any templates, registry or GPO settings created to make the process easy. Activities I think I need to do are: Disable Windows updates, Disable the Windows 7 reboot pop up dialog box , run ccmclean.exe to remove SMS client, etc. Are there additional steps to do. Thanks
