SP 10 Released (Servicedesk Plus Build 4109)

Hi All,

Thanks for your continued interest in ServiceDesk Plus. We are glad to announce the availability of Service Pack 10 of SDP. It is available for download at:

We strongly recommend that you take a back up before applying the SP.

This Service Pack can be applied over any build above build number 4102 of SDP. If you are not over the 4102 build, please apply the Upgrade Pack as mentioned in the above link. Also, please ensure you have shut down the server before application of the Service Pack / Upgrade Pack.

To know the fixes that have been added to the SP 10, kindly refer to the SP README. For your convenience, we have also listed the fixes in this service pack below:
    * Fix included to handle the issue of requests not getting threaded properly in certain mail client settings. Now threading requests uses the mail subject also as a parameter.
    * The issue of SLA violations not being properly escalated has been fixed.
    * SLAs with multiple criteria does not set the due by time of requests properly. This has been fixed.
    * Workstations are duplicated during scanning. This issue has been fixed.
    * When a requester is deleted the ownership for asset and workstation was retained. Now the assets and workstations assigned to a removed requester will become unassigned.
    * Purchase calculations in Purchase order was not properly rounded off. This issue has been fixed.
    * The out of memory exception that was thrown when trying to view or scan workstations has been fixed.
    * Synchronizing ServiceDesk Plus with Active Directory cleared the SMS mail id field of technician. This has been fixed.
    * Issue of request history not being added when request is closed has been fixed.
    * Expiry date field set while adding or updating asset does not take effect. This issue has been fixed.
    * Due date field of request was displayed as a numeric value in PDF reports. This has been fixed.
    * E-mails are not converted into requests in a rare case of parsing e-mails when a header (messageid) is not properly set in the received mails. This issue has been fixed.
