Some OpManager 7 problems

Hi all,

Just tried to run OpManager 7 and had some problems:

When I try and get OpManager to scan our router subnets, it defaults to a 255.255.255.0 netmask, ignoring the 255.255.0.0 netmask I have selected. CIDR failed totally.

The 1800 Series Cisco routers weren't listed in the device tables, so I got the OID from Cisco and added it. It still doesn't detect them though. Also, after I want to change the devices from the default desktop type to the router type, it hangs very frequently and refuses to update. I can however change them to any other type no problem (i.e. switch, UPS, etc) - These changes are accepted immediately.

It discovers one of our servers (correctly) as a domain controller, but I don't need to monitor the AD side of that machine. With OpManager 6 I was able to change the type to "server", as all I need to monitor on that machine is disk space (it's also a print server). Is there any way to change the type of the server to anyther option?

It seems to re-discover devices. We have many switches were we need only the switch stats, but we don't care about the ports, as user desktops get turned on/off all the time. Is there anyway to configure (re-)discovery as done in Version 6?

I always get the IE warning (lower left corner) when I open a router object. The page error is allways "unterminated String Constant".

Any feedback would be greatly apprecited.

Thanks,
Tom
