Solutions given for router's Resource Monitor is not working
Hi,
OPManager's free version is already running on my network from last 02 months (For testing purpose) and I added 18 devices in the OPManager and I am okay with all the monitors.
When I entered IP address and SNMP community string in "Solarwinds" for one of my router the "CPU Utilization" and "Memory Utilization" monitors start working itself.
But when I entered same IP address and SNMP community string in "OPManager" for the same router; It takes all the interface details itself but not showing any Resource monitor.
That means there is no problem with MIB.
Also I want to tell you that my router is of Nortel, not of Cisco because in last reply below mention things are asked me to do :- ---
Load the CISCO.MIB and query for these values.
.iso. -->>org. -->>dod. -->>internet. -->>private. -->>enterprises. -->>cisco. -->>local. -->> lsystem. -->>freeMem
This will give the amount of FREE MEMORY.
Also query,
.iso. -->> org. -->> dod. -->> internet. -->> private. -->> enterprises. -->> cisco. -->> local. -->> lsystem. -->> avgBusy1
And as per my best of the knowledge i followed below mentioned steps also :-
1. Go to OpManager/bin folder and invoke the mibbrowser.bat
2. Load the RFC 1213 mib and provide the device details and SNMP community string.
3. Now, expand the RFC 1213 mib to the value :
.iso. -->> org. -->> dod. -->> internet. -->> mgmt. -->> mib-2. -->> interfaces. -->> ifTable
whatever the results i got after followed these steps i am sending screenshots for that also.
I did best of my knowledge please guide me to troubleshoot this problem.
Regards,
Trisha
