I just wanted to test Software Deployment with pre-loading the package. This would be useful for roaming users with slow internet/VPN connection.

So I copied an existing (and functioning) configuration for installing software and then I enabled "Copy Folder To Client Machines".

When I tried to save the configuration, I got the error message:

Installation Switches/Arguments is not defined for this package. Click "Modify Package" to define install switches.

This cannot be correct, the package works fine and the install command is already set.

As said before I copied this config from an existing one which works perfectly fine...

When I follow the recommendation, "Modify Package" (from the configuration dialog), I save the Package without any changes. then I can save/deploy the configuration.

When I modify the configuration (i.e. just edit the name), I get the same error message again when I save/deploy.

Why is this happening?
