We are trying to deploy a couple of .exe files to around 30 workstations.
For around 3 workstations, one of the .exe files would fail with the error "Access Denied".
No matter how many times we retry, that specific package will always fail with "Access Denied".
The same package can deploy to the rest of the workstations without a problem.
And that package had also been deployed to the failed workstations before successfully. But upon redeployment they have a high chance to fail with that error.
At the same deployment, other .exe files can be deployed without a problem. While that one file with fail with this strange problem.
I tried looking at the agent logs "dcsoftwaredeployment".
It didn't really help as it only repeats the error "Access denied".
I suspected it might due to the file being executed in the network path. So in the configuration I selected Copy Folder first and try to install locally.
Still failed. I checked the logs again and found it is now executing locally, but without further hints it only showed "Access Denied".
The .exe files are installed using the "System Account".
Because if we try to install using domain administrator all the packages will always fail.
Thank you for reading, grateful if anyone could shed some light on this problem.
