We have a slight issue with recording downgraded licenses and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. We've just finished scanning over 4,000 computers and are starting to reconcile the software with our purchasing history.
The problem is tracking downgraded software - If we have a total of 40 - Office 2003 Professional Licenses, out of that 30 are actual Office 2003 Professional and 10 are Office 2010 Professional Licenses, theres no way to record that.
I know in older posts it was recommended to associate the Office 2010 license as a major version of 2003 but when I do that I no longer have the ability to add the actual 2003 licenses. Am I doing something wrong or is this a limtiation? As soon as I associate it (2003) to new version (2007) I now longer have the option to enter in the license information on the older version(2003)
