in past versions i created a trap parsers in conf/trap.parsers to make a critical/clear standard bgp traps to act as desired ( one alarm generate when bgp went down and clear that alarm once the bgp got to established state ). i want to test opmanager 8 and have the following issues:
- installed the 8.720 version - updated to 8.800 and applied the latest patch ( 8812 ).
after upgrading all trap processor went wrong ( in admin / trap processor all processors couldn't be used - got only the "Error!" message when tried to edit anything ). i deleted all the trap processors and create 2 new ones for the bgp behavior. the first one creates an critical alarm but the second one doesn't create the clear for the previous critical alarm generated. put the trap.parsers file from the 7th version of opmanager to the new one but not luck. i think that the bgp up trap is interpreted as it is no longer printed in the unsolicited trap menu. also i saw that there are new options for snmp traps in a submenu Advanced when i create the trap processor.
does anyone know how to solve this issue? it is possible at least or there is a bug or something?
