SNMP Mibs and browsing

Hello,

We are testing OpManager 5.5. We really like the way OpManager uses SNMP.

Understanding SNMP can be so difficult to understand. At the same time we are new to using SNMP

After looking at OpsManager It seems to take some of the trouble of dealing with Mibs from other devices easier.

I am having trouble understanding how to browse a MIB and find a particular OID.

For Example I have a MIB for a Bay Switch, how would I find the particular OID for say CPU usage?

I am looking for documentation that fully and clearly demonstrate how this process is done. It can't be that hard the SNMP walker is confusing.

I would appreciate any links to documentation or other help that can help clear up this confusing issue.
