SNMP and Tomcat 5.0.27

I've downloaded the SNMP Adaptor for JMX 5.0 product. My situation is that I'm using a 3rd party load testing tool that has the ability to monitor WebLogic-deployed apps using SNMP.
I would like to retain this ability with Tomcat. I think this tool may be it but I don't know for sure. It appears that it works out of the box with JBoss but nothing seems to indicate that the SNMP Adaptor product works with Tomcat 5.0.27.
I realize that'll have to map my MBeans to a MIB but is the SNMP Adaptor an actual SNMP Agent? Just looking for some verification.
