Hi,

 

I had previously version 7205. The installation is on W2k3 (virtual machine on VMware Infrastructure) using a DB on MSSQL 2005. I had a Nokia 6310 connected phisically to the COM of the host and i was able to send SMS. At some point the phone was not recognized by the OP-Manager software anymore. I was thinking to replace the OS and also to upgrate to version 8 so below the steps followed:

 

- install a new virtual machine w2k3;

- install OP-manager version 7200 pointing to MySQL - without starting the services;

- upgrade to 7205;

- change the needed files inside so that I'm pointing now to the MSSQL DB;

- ALL WAS OK;

- upgrade to version8 and now to 8002;

 

I tried with port 1, port 2 (inside the config of OP-manager but also the one added from host to virtual) but no joy.

 

I remember that last time when it was working i didn't install any drivers, any software, it was just seen and it was working.

 

Do you have any idea?
