SMS on Opman
Hi there,
Has anyone used the SMS feature on Opman? Im trying to get it working with a few different mobiles. The supported mobiles listed include the motorola v3 yet the documentation says it only supports sms via serial cable. The v3 only has a usb cable (which supports a usb serial port). I have a v3x which is the slightly upgraded model but i cant get it to work. Ive also tried a motorola L2. These all use basically the same function set and should work fine. Has anyone got ANY usb mobile to work with Opman SMS? My other option is to try and redirect the usb com port to a virtual serial port but i shouldnt really need to since the OS should see any com port as the same regardless of the physical medium. Is there any plans to extend the model support? The list is quite outdated, it would be hard to find one of those models in the shops now :-)
