I want to set SMPT settings to an external server. Example i want to be able to use smtp.gmail.com

 

We want to do this for priority alarms, so that a third party can be notified. This monitoring will be through a second  link, so will have access to internet if our main service goes down.

 

We do not want to use our exchange server, as this defeats the purpose (if our main link is down) there is no way of communicating to the server. this second link is seperate to network for security reasons.

 

Please let me know if this is feasible
