I'm having a couple of problems with SD6; I filled out several "Request Support" forms, but have only heard back regarding one of them. My trial version runs out in ten days, so I can't wait much longer to get this fixed.
1. The credentials on the log in screen still show up, even though I've clicked the "do not show" option numerous times.
2. The "scan in progress" indicator is still going for a domain that I started scanning...several days ago. I clicked the "Cancel" button for the scan several days ago and I still see the indicator. I've stopped and started the service, logged off and back on the server and have rebooted the server. The indicator is still there.
3. I get an error when attempting to scan the domain
FAILURE :Issue while starting domain discovery. Please report the problem to the system administrator, with the Error Code - 1,174,409,872,834
I sent this via the support form and was told to recreate it and send a support file. Unfortunately I cannot a) recreate the issue or b) send the support file/logs because when I use IE6 on the server on which I have installed ServiceDesk and click on the "Support File" option, the windows icon in the top right corner of the browser window animates to show that the browser is working, but nothing happens. It will move indefinitely...and nothing happens.
I can't attempt to re-scan the domain, because it is still being scanned, according to the indicator.
