Set computer for auto-login
I would like to be able to set a computer to automatically login using a specified account. This would work wonders for some of our kiosk machines. I know this is possible using GPO but I don't know how to set registry keys within a GPO. The registry keys needed for this are in:
HLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
and the following keys that need to be set are:
DefaultDomainName: #value
DefaultUserName: #value
DefaultPassword: #value
AutoAdminLogon: 1
I would love to be able to set specific machines to login automatically using a domain account without having to touch every single machine. I hope other people see a good use for this, if you do please post here so that Adventnet knows that you want this feature.
