Hi,

I have downloaded the ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin and trying to install it on Ubuntu 21, 64-bit system.

here is what i have tried;

1 sudo chmod +x ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin

2 ./ManageEngine_ServiceDesk_Plus_64bit.bin and then followed the on-Screen instructions.

The installer asked for the web-port and I entered 8585

Next couple of screens, i got the message DB started successfully.

Next couple of screens, The installer says - Installation successfull.

And then, I navigate to - /home/mahesh/maney/service-desk-plus/ServiceDesk/bin and execute ./run.sh

I get the following error message

And when I execute the same command with sudo -> sudo ./run.sh I get the following message

Problem while Starting Server
System halted

When i navigate to /home/mahesh/maney/service-desk-plus/ServiceDesk/pgsql/bin and try to execute

I get the following error

psql: error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.65432" failed: No such file or directory
    Is the server running locally and accepting connections on that socket?

Can you help me with installation and starting Service Desk Plus ?
