Servicedesk Status

Hi,

We are using SDP - 9.0  Build  9003.
I have created a new Status called "Cancelled" in which I want to move all the unwanted/unapproved request.
When I select this status, the request gets completed, but the 
resolution does not go to the end user.  I would like to send the 
notification to the user mentioning the reason for cancelling the ticket.
