ServiceDesk quit over the weekend and now fails to restart
At some point over the weekend, SDPlus (we're running version 6 something, can't be more specific because I don't know how to check the version when the web interface won't start--anyone give me any clues how to do that?) stopped running, possibly as a result of the drive its database (a SQL Server) is on becoming full. Now the drive has been cleared and has 20GB+ of free space, but ServiceDesk still will not start up.
I have attempted to start it both by restarting the machine and by manually using the startSDP batch file. The service appears to start, but the web interface does not respond. Looking at the log files, it also seems like the service thinks it has started; wrapper.log says:
STATUS | wrapper | 2007/11/26 12:36:57 | Starting the ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus service...
STATUS | wrapper | 2007/11/26 12:36:57 | --> Wrapper Started as Service
STATUS | wrapper | 2007/11/26 12:36:57 | Launching a JVM...
INFO | jvm 1 | 2007/11/26 12:37:00 | TRYING TO STOP DB WITH COMMAND:::stopDB.bat ../mysql 33366 root
STATUS | wrapper | 2007/11/26 12:37:02 | ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus started.
I don't know why it's messing about with MySQL, that isn't the db server, but whatever...
Startout.log is more ambiguous--it seems to go normally but ends with this:

I can't find anywhere that the exitStatus codes are defined however so I don't know what exactly that means--if anyone does know, can you point me at them?
In all cases, however, launching the web client either locally or remotely results in a "Cannot find server or DNS error" and no request logs are created.
The one last thing I tried, based on other threads found in this forum, is to manually execute the run.bat file. This results in a message which says "Could Not Find D:\AdventNet\ME\ServiceDesk\bin\jndi.properties" and then a dialog box which says "Invalid License File." However, I don't have any idea how to replace the license file (I have the original saved) without the web interface. I'd like to try that if anyone can tell me how; or, any other words of wisdom would be appreciated as well. I have two calls in with support so hopefully I'll hear back from them soon but perhaps someone in the forums here can help me faster.
TIA
Scott
