ServiceDesk Plus Report with Group by Custom Field

I've created a custom field for a service template and would like to be able to generate a report that groups by this field. I noticed that some custom fields show, but not this particular field.

I tried to edit the query to include the field as a grouping, but that fails. It even fails when without any edits.
