ServiceDesk Plus Release Announcement - 7.0 release
Dear Users,
We are glad to announce ServiceDesk Plus 7.0 release. ServiceDesk Plus is now available in three editions, viz
* Standard edition
* Professional edition
* Enterprise edition.

SDP 7 can be downloaded from manageengine.adventnet.com/products/service-desk/download.html .
We are working on upgrade pack. Existing SDP customers, please bear us with the delay. Once the upgrade pack is available, on applying the upgrade pack, existing customers will be upgraded to Professional edition. The upgrade pack should be available tentatively by early September.
WARNING : Please be aware that when ServiceDesk Plus is tried to get installed on already installed machine, it will uninstall the existing SDP installation and the existing data will be lost. Hence do not install SDP 7 in already installed machine.

Incident Management
* Request classification based on Request Type, Urgency, and Impact
* Automatic Request Closing with Request Aging Policy
* Create a new problem from a request
* Associate a request or multiple requests to an existing problem
* Initiate change from a request / associate a request to a existing change
Problem Management
* Well defined problem modeling helps you add Root Cause Analysis, Impact Analysis, Symptoms, Work-around, Solution with individual attachments.
* Associate multiple incidents related to a problem
* Associate a problem to an existing change request
* Create and manage multiple tasks for implementing a problem fix or workaround
Change Management
* Well defined flow in change management such as Impact Analysis, Rollout Plans, Backout Plans, Review comments with support individual attachments for every stage.
* Associate multiple incidents or problems to a Change
* Define multiple CABs (Change Advisory Board) and select CAB members based on every change
* CAB members can recommend every change that is implemented
* Forward Schedule of approved Changes to keep everyone informed and to give an overall sketch
CMDB: Configuration Management Database
* Identify and account for all the hardware and software assets in your organization
* Define relationships between assets based on their dependencies
* Define and manage assets to ensure uninterrupted IT service

Known Issues & Limitations
* Partial Multi Language Support.
* "Pass Through" Authentication will work only on two way trusted domains.
* "Pass Through" Authentication will work only with Internet Explorer.
* Windows License Key will not be fetched for windows vista machines.
* Survey and Audit reports will not work with MSSQL.
* In Firefox, assets cannot be selected while creating or updating a request.
