ServiceDesk Plus Professional - Custom categories are not included in reports and widgets

We recently expanded the list of categories to better represent the work we perform.  The new categories and subcategories are not available in the reports wizard, only the original default categories are.  What must be done to make the new active categories available to the reports wizard?
