ServiceDesk Plus MSP - version 9.4 - Build - 9418 Released

ServiceDesk Plus MSP - version 9.4 - Build - 9418 Released

Dear User(s)

We released ServiceDesk Plus MSP - version 9.4 - Build - 9418.

Please note the Major  Behavior changes Update below.

Ability to move request from an account to another is restricted . It will work only in the following cases.
  • If the requester of a ticket is an actual end user (not technician), then the new site will be associated if that site belongs to the requester’s account.
  • If the requester of a ticket is a technician, then the new site will be associated if the current technician(Logged-in tech) has permission for that site and also if the site belongs to the technician’s account or if the site is a MSP Organization Site.
  • When bulk editing the request, the site value will be populated based on the logged-in technician’s site, request account change operation will be carried out only if the selected site is associated to the Work order's requester(Requester/Technician).

We are working on a feature to provide the ability of moving a request from an account to another for MSP requesters raised tickets alone. We will provide more details about this feature in few weeks. If any of our users who need this ability please dont upgrade to this build.

Note : As a best Practice, please do the upgrade only in your Test environment and based on the status, do the upgrade in the Production.

You can contact our support at  sdpmsp@manageengine.com for any assistance.
