We released ServiceDesk Plus MSP - version 9.4 - Build - 9400


Please refer the Migration path table available here and upgrade to our latest build 9400


We highly recommend our users to do the upgrade in a test environment first. 

After successful upgrade, you can just restore the upgraded database into a new installation and make it as Production environment or you can do upgrade again in your Production environment.  After applying a service pack, start ServiceDesk Plus - MSP, login through the Web UI and shut it down before applying the next service pack.

 

What's new in ServiceDesk Plus - MSP 9400 ?

Framework changes :

This upgrade removes the jBoss dependency from the framework, reduces security risk with jBoss, increased performance and quicker startup.

MySQL support :

MySQL DB will not be supported.

Issues Fixed :

SDPMSP-10737 : Dashboard is showing wrong Open Requests count.
SDPMSP-11258 : Software purchased license is not showing properly under purchased count.
SDPMSP-11321 : Certain dashboard widgets are empty, under all sites.
SDPMSP-11334 : In IE11 , Headers are not visible in certain cases.
SDPMSP-11435 : On editing the worklog , its additional cost items value becomes empty.
SDPMSP-11443 : Unwanted entries present in the database which results in request merge issue.
SDPMSP-11448 : Account Manager is able to view asset financials details.
SDPMSP-11500 : Account manager is unable to view all his account's requests.
SDPMSP-11544 : Selected Additional fields are not retained under Request - Account Details tab after adding new account additional field(s).
SDPMSP-11614 : Due to the API calls restriction to Zoho Reports, the SDPMSP-Zoho Reports integration fails.

Following is the support policy of ServiceDesk Plus MSP :

  • Product support will be offered only for builds that are one year old. To continue receiving support, you will have to move to the latest version of ServiceDesk Plus MSP.
  • Service packs released will be applicable only over the latest available build of ServiceDesk Plus MSP. 
  • We stopped support for builds / version less than 9.3 (Build - 9300)
  • We stopped MYSQL Database support.
