ServiceDesk Plus Intermittent Timeouts When Updating Requests

I'm having an issue with our ServiceDesk Plus -  13.0 Build 13001. We have about 22 technicians. Starting a month or two ago, all of us will have seemingly random timeouts when updating requests. The application is not slow or laggy otherwise. Some of the things that trigger it:

Clicking Save to add or modify a note on a request
Clicking Send to send an email on a request
Clicking "Add Request" to attempt to create a new request
Clicking "Update request" when on the Edit request screen

When it is triggered, it will timeout the browser window. You can wait (sometimes up to several minutes) and it will eventually unfreeze. Oddly enough, if you try to save a note and it times out, you can usually navigate away from the page and the note will show up a minute or two later. 

When I notice the timeout happening, I can switch to a different tab and navigate the site without any issues. It's definitely only occurring when writing data. I have a support ticket in already, but it's been weeks without a resolution.
