ServiceDesk Plus 15100 Released !

Dear Users,

We're happy to announce that ServiceDesk Plus version 15100 is now available. The latest version introduces behaviour changes , new features and several enhancements to further improve your experience with ServiceDesk Plus.

CMDB Module Enhancements
  • Not all assets, users, and service categories need to be CIs.
  • Product Type and CI Type are now independent and treated as separate entities. Click here to know more
Sync Rules
  • Auto populate assets, departments, users, and more as CIs by configuring sync rules.
Assets
  • Not all product types are CI types. Creating a Product Type does not automatically create a CI Type.
  • Previously, all product types were CI types, and all assets were considered CIs

Sync Users from Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)

You can now import users from Microsoft Entra ID into ServiceDesk Plus. Schedule user imports and delta sync users based on specific criteria.
You can also configure automatic deletion of users when they are deleted in Entra ID.
To configure this, go to ESM Directory > User Management > Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for ESM setups and Admin > Users & Permissions > Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for non-ESM setup.

Zia parser

Analyzes incoming emails and performs various actions on requests or updates request properties.
To do this, go to Admin > Mail Server Settings > E-mail Command and enable Zia parser.
Alternatively, you can configure Zia parser under Admin > Zia > Zia Configurations > Zia Parser.

Work log Templates

Administrators can set up customized work log templates under Admin > Templates & Forms > Work log Templates.
You can now add Multi-select, Checkbox, Radio, Boolean, Date, Attachment, URL, Percentage, HTML, and Refer Additional Fields to work log templates.

Accessibility Controls

Improve usage, accessibility, and inclusivity of ServiceDesk Plus in accordance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
Users can configure Accessibility Controls under the Profile icon and enable controls for the same in the application footer.

Audit Log

User activities in ServiceDesk Plus are now tracked under Setup > Data and Administration > Audit Log. These logs capture user actions across the modules, along with user info on who performed the operation

Release Field and Form Rules

Execute field and form rules in the New/ Edit form and Details page of releases.

You can now execute field and form rules in the details page of changes.

UI Customization

Administrators can customize the rich text area and allow users to personalize it. To do this, go to Admin > UI Customization > Rich Text Area Settings.
Copy request properties (such as request ID, URL, and meta data) by hovering over the request ID from the request list view, request details page, or associated requests.

Technician Home Page Customization

Create a new custom tab with default and external widgets to be displayed on the technician's home page.
Tabs can be shared with Technicians, Roles, Support Groups & Organization Roles.
My Summary widget columns can be customized for each tab by every technician.

Dynamic throttle

You can now modify access limits for violated URLs in the URL rate limit violations option under Integration Key, Security Settings, and Notifications.
You can now set a custom value up to three times the predefined threshold limit of violated URLs.

Industry Specific Sample Data Population

Generate industry-specific sample data (IT, Banking, Education) within modules to explore and test features in real-world scenarios.
