ServiceDesk category / sub category / item display question

Hi -
In the ServiceDesk / Admin / Category panels, the Category, sub Category and Items are displayed sorted alphebetically. But when I look at those same items in the requestor interface, they are sorted by the SQL item number and so Requestors spend quite a bit of time searching through them. Is there a way to sort the items alphabettically for the Requestor view?
