Service Pack 1
A couple of questions:-
We have just installed service pack 1 on Netflow Analyzer 4 build 4002 and everthing works except ive noticed that in the about box it still says build 4002. Is this correct? I overwrote all existing files with the new files from the service pack ZIP file so i assume its been upgraded. I was under the impression the service pack updated build 4002 to 4010?
Also the new script to backup the database. Ive run this and noticed it just zips up all the stuff in the mysql\data directory. Does this backup all our application ports? We have added many custom application ports to Netflow Analyzer and do not wish to have to add them again in the event of a database restore.
Lastly ive noticed a bug in the way Netflow Analyzer shuts down and starts up. If we use the Start Menu option or the desktop icon to start netflow analyzer it starts up with a window showing the processes starting etc etc. We have discovered that if we leave this window open and then shutdown Netflow Analyzer at a later time it shuts down ok. If we close this window then try to shutdown at a later stage it does not work. The netflow processes (java,mysql-nt) continue to run. We discovered this because we run Netflow Analyzer as a service on Windows 2000 that starts at startup and therefore never displays the window. In this case we are never able to shutdown Netflow Analyzer. Any comments?
