Service Desk restore issues
Dear Friends,
I have Manage Engine Service Desk server which fall down due to some issues. I installed the Manageengine Service Desk 8.1 and 8.0, i tried to follow these steps for Restoring the Data:
How do I restore the backup data? The following instructions is to restore the backup data.
Step 1: From the command prompt, go to [ServiceDesk Plus-Home]\bin directory and execute the command restoreData.bat. Choose the backup file while prompted and select OK. [

NOTE: Please note that when you perform a restore, the existing data will be overwritten with the data in the backup file (i.e.) the restore process is not incremental and will not add information over the existing data.
Step 2: Once the restore is complete, a Java UI pops up saying the data restore is successful as shown below. You can click Close and start the application. [

Before restoring Data everything is fine i can access the new installed Service desk , when i shutdown the service and restore as the above instruction , and turn on the server , i can't have no more access on the ManageEngine Service Desk
if i restore it back to the new installation , it work
please, how i may restore back the Data as it's emergency backup for our company
