Service Desk Plus and Endpoint Central on same Windows Server

Service Desk Plus and Endpoint Central on same Windows Server

Our Endpoint Central server, a virtual Windows Server 2016 server, is now running version 11.3.2416.21, and our Service Desk Plus server, a virtual Windows Server 2016 server, is running 14.8 Build 14820.

The Endpoint Central server is currently on a separate server than the Service Desk plus server.

And both products are using the built in PostgreSQL database.

We have the integration between the Service Desk Plus and Endpoint Central configured and working properly. The Endpoint Central server is functioning off of the "Free" license and we are currently using the Agent to provide Software/Hardware Asset info from our Windows computers into Service Desk Plus.

We have about 400 Windows computers in our environment that are being supported by the products.

We would like to migrate the Endpoint Central Server functionality from the current server to the server that currently runs our Service Desk Plus software. This server also currently runs the "AD SelfService" software. So, in the end, all (3) of these products would be running on the same Windows server.

The process seems pretty straight forward.

Does anyone have a similiar configuration? Are there any "gotchas" I should be aware of prior to performing this type of migration? I will be adding additional vCpu and memory resources to the existing virtual machine to ensure performance is not affected.

Thank you!
