Hey there,
In my environment currently we've merged with another company, So right now we have 3 trusted domains LegacyDomain1.local , NewDomain.Local, LegacyDomain2.local
We are looking to start using the ServiceDesk Pro before we begin having everyone log onto NewDomain.local.
Currently I've imported All users from LegacyDomain1.local and LegacyDomain2.local into the servicesdesk, we will have users and technicians using their legacy domain credentials to enter/resolve tickets.
My question now is , in a few monthes we will collaspe LegacyDomain1.local and LegacyDomain2.local and everyone will start logging in the NewDomain.local .So then we will import all users from NewDomain.local but before importing users and techs from NewDomain.local we are going to want to delete all current requestors/sites (which includes technicians) so if we delete all the legacy requestors will we lose all the ticket history that everyone has entered or will we still be able to view that history?
e.g. User1 on Legacy domain enters a tickets, Tech 1 on legacy domain closes the tickets.
Can we go back through old tickets and still see that the deleted user1 entered the ticket and that deleted Tech 1 closed the ticket?
Thanks.
