As an existing reg user of SD4 (and others from your range) , it goes without saying this is a great product and SD5 should be even better.
However the endless lack of clarity and communication from Adventnet is beginning to wear very thin.
As several commentators have postulated , release date slippage is nothing new in this business. Significantly , there is NO meaningful communication about the future of the product .
1) No Upgrade Pack for the product , When , How , Limitations etc
2) Bug Fix for SD 5 . When , what , if etc

The upcoming 'Features' are not the end of the world . It doesn't cost to communicate but it does mean a lot to customers and ultimately to their customers.

Several of the comments raised in the various forum discussions are laughable .
This is about a SERVICE product delivering SERVICE to CUSTOMERS .
Not about microsoft bungling or techheads waffling .

So Adventnet ;
This product is a gamble - service provision isn't and cant be.
Get to the point , get to it fast and get it to the public.
Otherwise , play with something you're good at.
