example:  cockpit-server2.shp-domain.com

I need to change that name in order to let people understands what it means. (Like 'Messenger Sever', 'Backup DB Server'. 

But When I change it's asset name, SDP cannot scan anymore(it requires the administration ID and password) its system and new workstation gets added by Agent. How can I change the server's name and keep it(and keep scan by agent)?
