Server Resource Monitoring

Hi All,

I am trying to setup some reporting for my Executive unit, on the health of our network.

I have all servers configured to use either WMI or SNMP monitoring, for Server, Disk and Memory utilisation. The default reports use a green, yellow and red system for resource utilisation.

We have no custom thresholds set, for CPU, Disk or Memory.

The standard reports use yellow for > 60 and red > 80 for example for memory. My question is, what is the simplest way to change the metrics on these reporting colours.

ie. for Disk and Memory utilsation: I would like it to be > 70 for yellow, and > 85 for red.
For CPU i want > 60 for yellow and >80 for red

Is there a simple way to configure this? As i cannot seem to work it out.

By reading the forums, i would guess i need to setup custom device templates, and set the necessary thresholds. But i cant seem to set two different thresholds, one for > 70 and one for > 85 for WMI or SNMP. It only lets you have 1 threshold per performance monitor.

Or alternatively, do i need to use an external reporting tool like Crystal to achieve my aim?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
