Server Half-Down?
I'm having a problem where occasionally the problem we are having escapes OpManager's notice. This is what generally happens. One of our servers is rebooted and hangs during reboot, but OpManager can still ping the server, so it doesn't show any errors. When I attempt to do tests on the monitors, they report back that they couldn't communicate, and yet the view of the server shows green. If I am telling it to connect (say to CPU) and it can't and is giving me red, shouldn't the status notice just normally show me red? That would be extremely helpful. How is anyone else dealing with this? Obviously we can't have a hung server and not be aware of it.
