Self Test to insure OpManager is functioning correctly
Hello,
I'm trying to gather a list of items (processes, services, logs, etc) that I can monitor and have a reasonable "self test". The point behind the self test would be to determine the health or running state of the critical parts of the monitoring engine. The important parts being the scheduler, data collection, rule engine and alert system. The Self Tests will be completely separate and not rely on the OpManager since that would create a single point of failure. Any help identifying where to look for the health of the previously mentioned subsystems would be appreciated.
Thanks...
