Self Service Portal Annoyance / Bug - Enter adding a Space to search

When searching for a program in the Self-Service Portal and when you press Enter an extra space get's added to the query and it removes the intended software from the search. You then have to go and remove the extra space from the search bar for the intended software to show.

This is an annoying function of the portal. Hopefully this can be an easy fix.
