On the below post Michael mentions a potential new feature to include the option to upload images and text from the UI.
"Charles, source code will be retained, it will not be overwritten in an upgrade process.
FYI: We have plans to enhance "Self Service Portal Customization" in future, you can expect options to upload images and text from Service Desk Plus UI. It will very early to discuss on release dates, as of now we do not have the exact timeline for this feature"
