Seeking clarification for something:
Can you not have snmp and wmi based resource monitors for the same server? For example, I prefer to use wmi for memory and cpu usage since the cpu monitor is better for multiprocessors and the wmi memory usage monitor reflects more accurate memory usage than does snmp. But I like to use snmp for custome graphs such as mbps or some such.
But it seems if I configure a box this way, one will work while the other doesnt. One server I had monitored for some time and the snmp graphs were working fine. Then I added some wmi monitors with the new sp release of 5.5, now when I try to load one of the snmp graphs, it just says data for this device not collected or some such. I cannot even remove the snmp resource monitors. It says it removes them fine, but they do not go away, even when I stop and start the manage engine service.
