Searching for systems by Service Tag
Hi all,
Now a days more and more computer manufacture supply their machines with an service tag number. Usually this is an unique number which makes it easier for us system administrators to find the right system when it comes to warranty’s and stuff.
Now a days more and more computer manufacture supply their machines with an service tag number. Usually this is an unique number which makes it easier for us system administrators to find the right system when it comes to warranty’s and stuff.
Now that we use Desktop Central I thought that this was an very easy way to search for your machines in DC8. But I’m afraid to say that I’m unable to find any system by Service Tag. Is this something that must yet be implemented or am I just looking at it by the wrong way.
Somebody please help, need to check the complete database now by hand……
